“Processed Food Industry” – a medium for corporate publicity or industry specific advertising for building a positive image within the food industry

Readership

More than 50,000 entrepreneurs, senior managers; production engineers; QA, processing, packaging engineers, design / consulting services; research institutions, food/beverage manufacturers, distributors and retailers await the magazine every month.
We also participate in national and international exhibitions/events and seminars and distribute copies to exhibitors, participants and trade visitors.

Profile of Readers

The target readership is directly linked with the food industry which comprise, Senior managers; Production Engineers; QA, Processing, Packaging Engineers; Design/constancy services; Research institutions, Food/beverage manufactures, Distributors and retailers; etc. Our endevour is to keep up-to-date the industry people about the day-to-day events and the latest research activities.

Credentials of the Magazine

On our panel of consultants are ex-chairman of APEDA, professors and directors of academic and research institutes. Even secretaries of CIFTI and AIFPA are also on our panel. In each issue the researchers and professionals envy each other to publish their works. It is considered to be a good medium to disseminate information within the industry.

Pre-press and Camera Ready

We prefer any camera-ready ads to be on disk in TIF or EPS format with fonts and graphics embedded.

We also accept program files from Illustrator 10.0, Photoshop 6.0, and Quark XPress 4.0 providing used fonts and images are supplied. Images should be at 300 dpi in CMYK mode. JPGs are not accepted usually due to their poor reproduction on print. Some exceptions can be made for higher quality JPGs, however as a general rule of thumb, we suggest to avoid sending JPGs.

Please keep in mind that graphics used on web sites are at a much lower resolution than graphics for print. On-screen graphics, such as web graphics, are at 72 dpi, while the images we use need to be at 300 dpi to reproduce properly. If an image is too small to begin with, many times it cannot be enlarged to the desired size because of image degradation, which appears in the form of small blocks or blurry.

Negatives are not preferred, however if submitted, must be right reading, emulsion side down at 150 lpi.
