AAHAR Fair is devoted to ‘food’ and ‘hospitality’, which are integral part of India’s ancient heritage and culture with a world-famed slogan ‘Atithi Devo Bhava’ and with these words Pradeep Singh Kharola, CMD, inaugurated the 37th edition of The International Food & Hospitality Fair – AAHAR on 14th March 2023. 

The Indian food processing industry is among the largest in the nation in terms of growth, production, consumption, and exports and has been growing substantially daily. A downfall can be seen in other industries. However, the Food and Food Processing Industry has much potential compared to other industries. CMD of ITPO also recognized associations’ efforts in mobilizing this grand event.

 Present on this occasion were Anita Praveen, Secretary, Ministry of Food Processing Industries, Rajat Agarwal, Executive Director, ITPO, Alessandro Liberatori, Trade Commissioner, Italian Trade Commissioner and H.E. Euardo Uziel, Charge’D Affairs Brazil to India.

In his welcome speech, Rajat Agarwal, ED, ITPO, highlighted that 37th edition of AAHAR is an historic event spread over an area of 1,00,000 sq.mtrs approx. with participation from 1500+ exhibitors. Overseas participation from 18 countries with 100 nos. foreign exhibitors reveals that India is a mega-hub for the food and hospitality sector. He further emphasized that ITPO has worked very hard to make this fair a success and will be a milestone in forging business partnerships and linkages amongst stakeholders.

AAHAR is India’s largest Food & Hospitality sector trade show. In 2022, the show had over 80,000 visitors and 1,200 exhibitors, including international participation from Austria, Canada, France, Italy, Peru, UAE, the UK, the USA, South Africa & Taiwan.

The show provides an opportunity to network with India’s food industry leaders while promoting your products to business visitors from all key food sectors, including importers, wholesalers, distributors, retail chains, hospitality institutions, cash & carry vendors, supermarkets & potential joint venture partners.

The ITPO has organized the fair with support of the Ministry of Food Processing and Industries, Government of India, APEDA along with other apex bodies such as AIFPA, ARCHII, HOTERMAI, FHSAI, FIFI, KREMAG, FAIC, FIFHI, FIWA and PBFIA for the fair.
