Kuuraku, a well-known chain in India, has taken the Vegan concept with modesty and opened new doors to vegetarian clients by introducing “Real Vegan Ramen”.

For the first time in India, Kuuraku, a well-known Global Japanese Chain, offered “Real Vegan Ramen” in all of its outlets. The move follows the company’s concerted efforts to highlight its food diversity and surprise its clients with unique and new alternatives in vegan and vegetarian cuisines.

Kuuraku’s Executive Chef Yoshitaka Tagawa prepared the revolutionary “Real Vegan Ramen” at its Gurugram outlet, No 15, Global Foyer, Golf Course Road, Sector 43, Gurugram, Haryana.

These dishes, developed and curetted by the best Japanese chefs, are “Real Vegan Ramen” that even non-vegetarians may enjoy because the noodles are prepared using specific formulas using a noodle manufacturing machine imported from Japan! As a result, the name “Real Ramen from Japan” was chosen.

Detailing the “Real Vegan Ramen” cuisine, Executive Chef and COO, of Kuuraku India Yoshitaka Tagawa said, “Typically Vegan is made of special vegetable broth and plant-based milk like soy milk, spice oil, and various vegetables on top. The creamy soup is full of vegetable taste and perfectly matches our homemade noodles. At Kuuraku, we always strive to delight our customers with innovations in taste, flavours, and presentation in all our cuisines. Vegan Ramen has been relished and appreciated by customers in other countries looking for more food options.

Savour Real Vegan Ramen at Kuuraku Restaurants
Just one bite and you will fall in love with “Real Vegan Ramen.” It’s not just vegetarian food made with real ingredients; it is also great for non-vegetarian people. Our chefs have worked very hard to develop these noodles, especially for this launch, and they now offer an authentic Japanese Ramen experience in India – the first time of its kind!

“Hence at Kuuraku, we have left no stone unturned to create the Real Vegan Ramen recipes. These include Yakitori – our Signature dish, Japanese grilled skewers, which is cooked by certified chefs who have qualified the stringent tests in cooking as we have in Japan. Additionally, Tagawa added that we serve a wide array of authentic Japanese dishes like Ramen, Sushi, Tempura, Gyoza, Japanese curry, and many other Japanese Izakaya tapas that perfectly match with beer and whisky”.

“All dishes come with a promise of authentic ingredients that are carefully prepared by well-trained Chefs at Kuuraku. Importantly, there are almost no vegan or vegetarian recipes in authentic Japanese cuisine. Hence after an extensive R&D, including repeated trials, we have launched our range of “Real Vegan Ramen and are hopeful that consumers will love its unique flavour and taste”, Tagawa added.

Speaking on the occasion, Seijiro Hirohama, Managing Director of Kuuraku India, remarked, “It is a fact that world over, Japanese food has gained huge popularity as consumers embrace healthy eating options and look beyond traditional dining choices to more exciting alternatives. We are happy to learn that we have witnessed exponential growth in Japanese restaurants in the last few years. The world is becoming more cognizant of the environment, people are turning Vegan and looking for food options that are healthy, tasty, and cause no harm to the environment. We hope this trend continues and Japanese cuisines continue to be an all-time favourite of Indians too.”
