This exciting four-day event, Food Taipei 2023, commenced on June 14th and continued till June 17th at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Halls 1 and 2. 1,500 exhibitors from 31 countries to showcased their products.
The 2023 Food Taipei Mega Shows concluded on a positive note. The mega event consisted of FOOD TAIPEI, FOODTECH TAIPEI, BIO/PHARMATECH TAIWAN, TAIPEI PACK, and TAIWAN HORECA, took place at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, Halls 1 and 2. This exciting four-day event commenced on June 14th and continued till June 17th, offering a platform for up to 1,498 exhibitors from 31 countries to showcased their products and services across 4,118 booths.
Local and global exhibitors were eagerly prepared to seize the vast business opportunities in the food industry. This year’s trade show brought together a diverse array of local companies and attracted exhibitors worldwide. Among the domestic exhibitors, there were renowned names such as Hiwin Technologies Corp, Kuo Chang Machine, Kwang Dah Enterprises, Great John Machinery, Royal Family Food Co., Anyong Freshmart Inc, Chuan Cheng Catering Equipment Co., Hwa Gung Tea Co.etc.
The Kuo Chang Co. claimed to have expert knowledge of noodle makers and, most importantly, to attentively attend to consumer needs. The Kuo Chang Co. Noodle Making Machines enable our customers to produce a maximum amount of noodles with the least amount of labour, according to Amy Chen, Vice General Manager of Kuo Chang Co.
James Kao, the manager of HIWIN, a company specialising in Automation Intelligence and Robotics, stated, “Industrial robot RA620 and XEG-Series perfectly showcase how to finish the repetitive and dangerous jobs for human beings.” The newest technology is being used in recycling applications, according to Kuo.
The vice president of Markotec Labelling System, Bobby Wang, stated that his company is a reputable producer of labelling machines and that its philosophy is to serve customers with accountability and integrity. Furthermore, the mega show hosted pavilions from various countries and regions such as the U.K., Japan’s Kyushu, and Paraguay, thereby underlining its position as a potent hub for businesses seeking to penetrate the Asian market.
This year’s trade expo had two major themes that aligned with global trends: “Future Food” and “Food Safety and Sustainability.” It featured a variety of additive-free beverages, foods made from organic and plant-based ingredients, and energy-saving, environmentally friendly equipment. A healthy diet and organic farming are encouraged by FOOD TAIPEI’s introduction of an Organic Section in response to the rising popularity of the organic diet.
The Sustainable Packaging Section, which reimagines the packaging industry with recycled and biodegradable materials and offers eco-friendly solutions to the world, was also added to TAIPEI PACK this year. For the first time this year, the show put up a Future Food Technology Pavilion where visitors may view sustainable foods, senior-friendly cuisine, and other alternatives to conventional fare. The trade remained at the forefront of the latest trends and served as a platform of innovation.
Aside from all the exhibitions, a range of engaging events also featured in the mega show. For instance, the Food Taipei Forum gathered experts and key manufacturers from domestic and abroad to provide their insights into the current market and give talks on five topics: the latest industrial trends, ESG business model, alternative foods, digital transformation, and sustainable packaging.
Moreover, events like Healthy Eating, Active Living, Yummy Map collection, Travel by Palate, Guided Tour, 1-on-1 Procurement Meetings, New Product Launches, and KOL promotional videos were all excellent opportunities for participants to experience a healthy diet lifestyle and to join the cause of building a sustainable future for food. Food Taipei Mega Shows proved to be a multinational platform full of opportunities, making it an ideal destination for leaders from the food industry to look for innovative products and solutions.
